SHOOT FAQ’S —

  • If you want to chat, or are ready to book go ahead and click the “booking” tab above. Fill out the form (make sure your email is correct!) and send it along. If you want to chat first let me know, I am happy to email with you or arrange a time to call over the phone.

  • Once we’ve agreed upon a date and it’s confirmed to be available, I will send you a booking email, which includes a contract and an invoice. Once you have read and signed the contract and paid the £100 deposit your session is booked! Dates/prices cannot be held without the deposit.

  • I typically shoot at sunrise or sunset, the best time for light! This will depend on the time of year. Soft and magical is what we go for. The first hour starting from just prior to the sunrise, and the last hour of the day before sunset. If you have a specific request please feel free to email me to discuss.

  • We will meet at our destination or walk there together and shoot around the area. I give plenty of cues and prompts, so you’re never left wondering what to do. But the real magic happens when you let those moments unfurl; I will capture the moments between the moments. My shoot style is posed/prompted but I leave you to play around within that. I will let you know once we have a full set of images and we can pack up!

PERSONAL FAQ’S —

  • Don’t worry! You’ll receive a style guide once you are booked in which covers what to wear, bring and what to expect. I do have a small client wardrobe of dresses for people who would like to wear one. It’s accessible via a highlight on Instagram.

  • 9/10 of my clients claim to be awkward. Don’t worry, I know, it’s a bit of anticipation mixed with nerves. I’ll do my best to make you feel comfortable with me first. I’m also very observant of things that reflect comfort and ease in images, and I’ll give you guidance if you feel a bit stiff. But most of the time, I receive a message after saying how much fun the session was and how comfortable I made everyone feel! That's the goal! But really you won’t feel awkward because you’ll be focussing on each other, and I’ll be focussed on capturing that.

  • Do kids ever really play ball? Often they’re going to react to their situation. I worked with 2-4 year olds for 7 years, and older children within that time too. So I want to reassure you; I will not be put out by your little ones excitement, tears, resilience! We allow plenty of time to make sure tears can be soothed, little brains can be compromised with and joyful moments can take place.

  • If you have any props in mind; a blanket, a picnic, a change of clothes, please bring them along. You’re welcome to let me know beforehand as well if you have a specific vision in mind. For babies and children, think about bringing some neutral toys you'd be happy to be in the images. Teethers, snacks, anything like that can bring a sense of comfort and help keep them smiling and happy. If you want to bring something to encourage children to take part, I recommend mini marshmallows. They’re clean, quick to eat and not brightly coloured. Chocolate seems like a good idea until it's all around their mouths and clothes.

  • Your full gallery will be ready 4-6 weeks after your shoot!

  • I mean, the UK? We know there is often a chance of rain. If you think you can enjoy the adventure and have fun with it, let's go, I will shoot in any weather. However if you do have very little ones or if you don’t want to get wet yourselves, we can reschedule to the nearest possible date. A light shower can make for an epic shoot and storms/clouds most certainly are my favourite! But if it's torrential, hailing or lightning I’ll be in contact with you.

  • You have unlimited downloads and can share the gallery with friends and family to download too. The gallery will be available for 6 weeks so please download and save all your images somewhere safe. You can print your own, or you can print via the shop attached to the gallery itself. If you do choose to print yourself please use a professional printing lab.

  • Of course you can! There is an opt in or out of sharing in your contract which gives me permission to share your images online on my website or social media. Please read this carefully, however when it comes to you, the images are yours. You’re welcome to share them. You’re also welcome to tag me if you would like to.

  • I’m based in Kent, but happy to cover Kent, London, Sussex and Surrey. There are additional travel fees outside of 25 miles. If I am travelling abroad or elsewhere in the UK and working whilst I’m there I will share this on Instagram for clients.
